KATHARINE YARBROUGH is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with degrees in Music and Vocal Performance and currently teaches private voice, piano and flute lessons in Delray Beach, Fl. As partner of Teach. Play. Love. Music LLC music academy, she is Co-Director of the Performing Arts Camp at The Derlay Beach Center for the Arts. Katharine has performed in the theaters of Carnegie Hall, Kravis Center, Wick Theater and the Palm Beach Convention Center, just to name a few. As a classical vocalist, Katharine is a Soprano with Espressivo Choir under the direction of John Weatherspoon who won the 2015 Music Educator of the Year Award. She recently performed with Espressivo in their accompaniment of Andrea Bocelli and the Miami Symphony Orchestra for Miami’s Centennial Celebration hosted by HardRock Cafe. As a professional, she has also performed for large events including the appearance of the Dalai Lama, Catholic coronations, and weddings. Theatrically, Katharine has performed in musicals and opera productions such as Cinderella, Footloose, Song of Solomon and vingettes from Mozart's Don Giovanni. She has also served as Music Director for the Arts Garage's production of 13 the Musical. As a studio artist, she has recorded multiple tracks for all genres of music including radio and TV commercials. Katharine has been a music educator for almost a decade and attributes her own personal growth to teaching others the art of music.
